With DVR i'll be watching both, just not sure in what order, Always Sunny is my favorite show on television and it has the same age demographic that the UFC is seeking.
Those shows are not competitors of the UFC though. Fox Sports 1 is a Sports Channel.
Fox wants the UFC to compete against other Sports programming, not comedies.
Those shows ratings (if they are live) will absolutely destroy the UFC. It wont even be close. The only thing that MIGHT be close is the male demographic, but the 18-34 or whatever the age demo is, they will lose badly to the Sunny Philadelphia show. I don't even watch that show, but I know that for a fact, and so does everyone at the UFC and FOX.
Real UFC fans will be watching the live UFC event. That is what FOX knows, and that is what they are counting on. I personally would NEVER choose to watch a comedy over a live UFC event, even with DVR possibilities. A drama maybe, but not a comedy. BUT, I don't blame people who do DVR UFC instead. A 5 hour event is only like 1 hour with DVR and you skip all the boring shit. Can't argue with that logic.
