His website actually lists him at 5 feet 10, but GSP is in the 5 feet 9-9.5 range having seen him stand next to my cousin who is exactly 5 feet 10. Not that height matters a lot, but i was just making the point before that the welterweights of today are much taller than when GSP first started. Many of today's welterweights like Condit, Diaz, Kampmann, Stungun, Lim, Hathaway, Brown, Pyle, Rory, Amagov, Marquardt, Shields, Maia, etc., are all in the 6 feet to 6 feet 2 range. The argument that GSP is a very big WW is simply not true given his height and weight (he was 185 pounds fight night against Diaz, while other WW's are much bigger).
