i believe it is. especially since a bunch of top 10 LWs dropped weight. also guys like Siver and Lentz have made a difference.
talent wise, it's all relative, but a lot of guys at lw around the 11-20 range, like Tibau and Wiman and Lauzon....they've been there so long and i feel like theyre never gonna take that next step. dos Anjos, Grant and maybe Nurmagomedov are the only ones i think are there and ready to get a big top 10 win. A couple young, untested guys could make things interesting by next year, hopefully (Jury, Cruickshank, Trujillo, Khabilov).
same with WW. You have your top guys, but then it gets kind of gatekeeper-ish. Saffiedine, and Woodley are the only guys i see possibly breaking through. no one outside of Nelson (didn't see his fight tonight) is new and exciting.
FW the 11-20 range has a lot of young guys with high ceilings. Oliveira, Koch, Poirier, Hettes...they've all lost, but who knows how good they'll turn out. Not to mention, Pettis vs Aldo is going to be the best upcoming title fight, and then there's a bunch of guys who deserve title shots already, like Lamas, Jung, Swanson, and then Siver is about one more good win away from legitimate consideration. Guida vs Mendes will add one more.
