I agree with the spirit of your suggestion, but the problem remains that what makes a "strong" co-main or third fight is subjective. Hardcore fans and casuals are obviously going to have pretty different interpretations of what makes a strong bout. Maybe if strong is defined as "having at least one fighter who is in the top 10 of their respective weight division." But then, the rankings themselves are also totally subjective.
By any measure, 177 is a shite card. 178, on the other hand, I'm pretty excited for.
