Hopefully this loss is the best thing that ever happened to him and not the beginning of the end - not as a fighter, but of the likelihood of him being a future HW champion.

Um.....pretty sure it's the fact that after he got busted he cut back on the anabolic steroids.

Everything TS says is true. Overeem, although clearly winning the first two rounds, didn't look that good. Over confident and way too cocky/arrogant. He lost the fight because he couldn't take it seriously.

I was disappointed too, all he can do now is either go back to the drawing board or retire. That many KO's isn't good for a man.

I was rooting for Overeem, but I've known him for so long that seeing him getting KOed is not surprising. But always disappointing indeed.

Was a nice fight thought. Overeem was doing well in the first 2 rounds before Bigfoot started to throw everything at the Reem that maybe got caught off guard (he was quite looking for it).

I believe he can do better, and it would be a mistake to anyone to think the Reem is an easy fight because of his chin.

overeem needs to get the fuck out of miami, and get back to the netherlands training kickboxing with golden glory and the other guys over there. most of them don't do MMA, so it's good for him to strike with the best in the world.

This. Watch his K1 fights from a few years back. Especially vs Ben Edwards. Watch the astounding speed and accuracy of his punches. Lightning fast and devastating. Then watch vs BF...SLOOOWW motion punches. Don't know if its lack of "supplements", lack of training, or what. Its amazing the night and day difference. Or how much more devastating his knees looked a few years ago. Against BF his knees looked like they were thrown at 30% power. If its not the lack of "supplements" causing this regression, the Reem would be best suited to return to the trainers/coaches that were guiding him in the past and ditch the Blackzillians.

I don't know man, with Werdum and Mir around... We'll see I guess.
