You're not wrong - you have to pressure Machida to hit him, and he tends to drop his hands when throwing his punches. He's been figured out to some degree. Still, he won every single one of those fights you posted (Shogun 1 was a damn close fight IMO). Yes, you could rush Machida like in those moments or you could rush and end up like this:
In this KO, he even manages to parry/block Bader's punch while throwing his counter.
Bader was basically flatlined by Tito Ortiz. His striking is a joke. It's below elementary.
I had him beating Rampage, but Rampage's upper body movement kept him from getting put on queer street as much as was against Glover.
