Exactly. It was so much fun to be an mma fan

UFC 116 Live was the loudest space I have ever been in. The ground was shaking while Carwin was blasting Brock.

The bar I was at when Vitor had Jones in an arm bar was loud as shit. The place was going nuts! But it didn't last too long of course. lol

Will never forget going to my buddy's to watch Pride Shockwave the weekend before I started my freshman year in high school. Introduced to Crocop, Wand, Saku, and Big Nog all in one night. And holy shit Bob Sapp was a very scary man. Was a hardcore Pride fan from then til Final Conflict 2005. It was a perfect little three year run, and after Fedor-Crocop (and Shogun winning the MWGP) -- it's not like I wasn't interested anymore, but my interest couldn't go anywhere but down. Still watched and enjoyed a good deal of MMA, tho mostly just replays and youtube stuffs. Things picked up again big time when Shogun KTFO Chuck and the end of college neared. Still a huge fan now. Not sure if anything will ever top the excitement of the Pride days (/cliche) but with all the shows and talent nowadays, being a fan is better than ever IMO.

I was so tense for that. Didn't feel real til Rashad landed that fucking bomb. Page's chin is so fucking solid

I'd say I was the most interested in MMA during the time that PRIDE was being folded into the UFC and Strikeforce was on the come-up.

So much going on then and the potential for match ups just led to constant mma talk for about 2 years.
