He actually stopped working when he got into the top contenders and was at the top then started again once the injuries started to pile up.
But yes the whole only being able to train part time for an opponent who has world class facillities, coaches, trainers and nutritionists who can fly in top people to spar with and round out her game is never going to be easy.
In a way it hurts Rousey more than anyone else. This is the early days for WMMA yet they have a modern day fighter in Rousey, it's like sending GSP back ten years for men's MMA. Rousey will always have it hanging over her head she didn't fight people on her own level even though it's not her own fault.
In ten years time this won't be an issue but if the UFC is serious about building up WMMA they need to start helping these girls get proper full time training.
