Your whole post is bad, but this last line is straight dogshit.

Cub, sure, you've got an argument that he could have gotten his rematch before Mendes. The others however, have no such argument. Edgar has only beat the ghost of BJ since losing to Aldo. Olivera is a good fighter, but hasn't done anything to warrent being in talks for a title shot. I have no idea why you'd think he's a good style match up for Aldo. Lamas also has only one victory since losing to Aldo, against a guy outside of the top ten.

I'm picking Aldo in the Mendes rematch, but it's far from a waste of a fight, Mendes has clearly improved and is on a mean streak.

Edgar has a 39% strike accuracy with a high output. This confuses people to think he doesn't shadowbox, when he does and he also only has 3 knockdowns in his UFC career (yeah yeah he beat up BJ I know).

I like em both, rewatched and it changed nothing for me. Aldo won

But it really isn't outlandish to call this fight a draw or an Edgar win.

The 3rd was a toss-up, and Edgar won rounds 4 and 5. A lot of people are swayed by the damage on Frankie's face, but Frankie is just one of those guys that bleeds easily.
Yes it is. If you use the system as designed Edgar only won round 4, this fight should be the one they use to train judges cause its the best example of people scoring volume over significant strikes when the numbers are close, in round 3 Frankie got credit for 9 strikes that were weak knees to the thigh, those do not and should not ever be valued higher than hard shots to the head which is what Aldo landed all night.

49-46 Aldo as clear cut as they come. Plus Aldo destroyed him in round 1 and 2, should that asskicking be scored the same as the rounds people claim Frankie won with weak leg kicks and knees to the thigh?

You thought Aldo had a tough fight with Lamas? You can't be serious. These days a tough fight consists of you beating your opponent soundly and succumbing to only one TD in the final couple minutes of a fight and taking only a few solid shots of GnP apparently.

Aldo won that fight with Lamas 50-45 easily and 49-46 is being very generous to Lamas.
