If Chael wins exactly the same way Arona did, most modern fans would consider that a dominant decision win.
If Chael does what Ninja did to Dan Henderson, he would also win a dominant decision. Ironically, Hendo "won" that fight against Ninja.

I'm not crazy about what the sport values and what it sacrifices.
I love seeing creative guard work, for example, but something like that isn't even worth the risk of losing 10-9 rounds; better to get back up and try to land some strikes or get a TD of your own, which turns into a contest I don't really care for (Pettis vs Stephens).
I also love seeing an effort to finish (Wand vs Bisping), but a lot of fans (as well as Bisping) feel that Bisping should have won that fight.
A matchup like Rashad vs Lil Nog should have been one of the greatest matchups, great standup from both of them and good wrestling vs BJJ, but instead, it turns into crap because Rashad is just trying to sneak in a TD or two (even for a couple seconds) and Lil Nog can't throw freely because (God Forbid) he might get taken down and lose the round.

No matter who wins, Chael or Wand, or Rashad or Chael, I just hope for conclusive results.
Rashad, especially, has a tendency to be involved in close fights where he either "dominates" or edges by, depending on who you talk to.
It could look like the Marquardt fight.

Chael was in deep trouble at the end of that. He took a nasty strike to the face, almost got stuck in a guillotine, and was on the bottom hanging on for dear life. Really, that was the only SIGNIFICANT action of the fight. Chael's face was a bloody mess and Nate didn't have a scratch on him.
But oh boy, those minutes of Chael laying on top of Nate added up.

You could compare that fight to Dan Henderson vs Ninja Rua. Very similar fights actually. With different judges' decisions.
