How many fights has Machida declined? Honest question. I can only think of two fights Machida has ever said no to, and those are the Jones fight on a month's notice after already having lost to Jones on short notice before and the Rashad fight when Davis pulled out which was around a month's notice as well.
Even then it's not like he just flat out said no. He asked for the Jones fight to be pushed back a couple weeks and he'd take it (there was another PPV a few weeks later and I think he was trying to get it on that card) and for the Rashad rematch that's where the whole "Anderson Silva money" bit came from since he asked for a pay bonus should he take the Rashad fight on such short notice, which is why the UFC didn't give him that fight. Both of those situations were easily explainable and reasonable on Machida's behalf so he shouldn't
be getting any shit for them.
Supporting: Frank Mir, Lyoto Machida, Nick Diaz, Nate Diaz, BJ Penn, the Korean Zombie, and Ian McCall, as well as any huge underdogs in fights not involving the aforementioned fighters.
