You need more discipline and we need to polish up a couple more things. Plus you must earn it. I know not every academy/coach has this mindset but it is a good one to have. Not just some joe who trains for 4 weeks and jumps in a fight. I hate this stuff. I can't objectively know what was going in in this guys head but goodness gracious that was disgraceful!
Some guys look like killers in the gym and then become a stuffed animal day of the fight.

The groin? Really? Why does someone practice shooting one in the groin?

Then again, they are Germans. They could just be getting their kink on.

Nice, comforting to hear it's like that in other places!

It isn't really a big deal. These people lose their fights and the sport moves on. Promoters don't call them back, they find something else to do with their lives. Somehow they made it there and they surrendered. It's not like the Klitschko/Povetkin hugfest if you have a problem with that.

I think upkicking & defending takedown attempts with knees to 'grounded' opponents should be legal.

Favs.: Velasquez, Overeem, Werdum, Barry, Machida, MacDonald, Dodson, Fedor

Depends on the situation IMO. If the fighter is defenseless then tapping is the smart thing to do.

Theres a stigma about quitting in boxing that transferred to MMA but it seems to be okay in MMA wherein boxing it is still incredibly frowned upon.
