What? You don't prove you're worthy of you're rank by losing. Shields lost a fight and went from like 6th(underrated why were Askren and MacDonald ahead of him?) to 11th, Condit loses multiple fights and he's still top 5.

What's so bad about that? Shields doesn't have 3 losses in a row and he has a win over Condit. Besides he should have been 4th before the Lombard loss.

1. Hendricks
2. Condit
3. Lawler
4. Shields

That should have been the top 4 pre Lombard vs Shields and Woodley vs Condit but for some reason Sherdog had Askren and MacDonald ahead.

He should have started moving more and not standing in front of him once he realized Hendricks literally wasn't gonna do shit other than take him down over and over again, and then finished him after Hendricks was even more gassed from whiffing on his TD attempts IMO but whatever.
I don't know why people have this misconception about that fight, Hendricks IMO had a slight edge in the striking in rounds 1 and 2 and had lots of takedowns those rounds were clearly his, then in the 3rd Condit took over but didn't get a 10-8 so he lost.

This whole idea that Hendricks did nothing but get takedowns is bullshit.

Exactly, checking a kick is intended to cause injury and damage. A takedown is not intended to blow out a knee.

A technique having the desired result is not a fluke, even though the result might be unusually drastic and go beyond what is to be expected.

I keep repeating it because people keep failing to understand the difference.

Had a close fight with the champ where the champ had to lay and pray him, and most think Hendricks would have lost in a 5 rounder.

Lost to GSP, who beats everyone, and came the closest of anyone sans Serra to finishing GSP.

"Lost" due to freak ACL injury in his last fight.

You're right, he doesn't even deserve top 10 ....
