Yup. There is almost no one Weidman could have beat in those two fights at the time he beat Maia and Munoz and got credit. People on this forum were saying he needed real wins and including Belcher and Palharas in that list. If he had beat either of them, they too, like Munoz, Maia would have been treated as cans. Bisping only got cred in his loss to Chael. If Weidman had beat him prior to that, then again they would say Bisping loses to everyone. Even a win over Belfort would be fodder. I think the only wins he might have got credit for would have been Sonnen and Okami. Everyone else would be trashed because basically as soon as a fighter loses he is the one that is no good and Weidman needed to fight the guy who has not lost yet.
