(1)I don't know what gym you train at but the top level fighters all include sparing sessions that incorporate wrestling as well as striking in order to make their transitions more fluid, look no further than the footage of Cain and DC sparring.

(2) So your saying Gus trains at alliance but elects to not train with the best guy in his division that has a strength where his weakness is, yeah ok bud. Hes obviously there to train with cruz to better his wrestling lol...

You obviously have no clue what your talking about.. I like Phil Davis too but insinuating that the ufc is ''protecting'' Gus from Davis makes u look really stupid

so what if he bitches but keeps knocking people out left and right ? even if you were in his position then they match you up against Machida , you would bitch too.
lol get a grip , no man deserves it more than Vitor, simple.
Get a grip of reality.

Vitor has looked great recently but he got KO'd by Anderson like it was nothing. After a fighter is finished by the champ, he usually has to win more than 3 fights to get another title shot.

Weidman just KO'd Anderson and if the rematch is any kind of close with Anderson being the victor the rubbermatch is both the most logical and marketable matchup for the UFC. Should Weidman win, I am 100% in favor of Vitor getting the next shot. With Jacare-Carmont winner and Machida-Mousasi winner close behind.
