You're not sure how anyone could say someone who should arguably be the LW champ is too much for Urijah? Quite frankly I'm not sure how anyone could think Urijah even had a remote chance of winning.

Yes very much so. Basing on that alone doesn't really show much thought put into this at all. In fact, pretty much none at all.

What matters is that they match up incredibly well, and there is no significant size difference. How Edgar matches up with LW's is very different than how he matches up with quicker more versatile fighters who can push 100% from start to finish.

That's because you've put very little though into this.

It was a close fight, but Aldo clearly won. I think Edgar out boxes Faber 29-28

I think it's you who needs to put a little more thought into this, Urijah has zero for Frankie. Frankie is pretty much Urijah 2.0. You've said yourself they are roughly the same size, yet Urijah could not have nearly the same success at LW. We've seen them fight a common opponent at FW(Aldo) with drastically different results. Yet somehow Urijah is going to take it to Frankie?

Frankie and Urijah fight nothing alike at all.

Ironically, even though Faber is the older fighter, I consider him the more versatile of the two. Edgar does have the strength and size advantage though. Cardio is pretty even.

I'm talking more about skills than approach, but even then I wouldn't say they fight nothing alike at all. I don't think Urijah's submission game would come into play and he's outmatched everywhere else. He'd have to fight Frankie's fight and I don't see how he could win it.

Frankie was very competitive in all of those fights. Faber's been riding his name for years now. Mike Brown dominated him. Cruz beat him pretty soundly. Aldo destroyed him. And Barao handled him pretty easily as well. The guy couldn't hang at 145 anymore, so he goes to 135, loses to Cruz, then loses again most recently in the interim title fight. I'm not saying he's washed up like Wanderlei, but if he gets any more title shots (which I doubt) it'll be because of his name, and he'll get smoked again. Frankie lost the strap less than a year ago. Faber lost his over 4 years ago. That's a pretty big difference.

Now that's thinking.

How one does against a certain range of opponents has nothing to do with how they would fare against each other.

Thankfully that has absolutely nothing to do with how they match up against each other.

Yeah, no. Those fights clearly establish the fact that Frankie has Urijah beat everywhere. Frankie is the superior striker and wrestler and it's not close.
