You would think some of them would realize they're not running the UFC.

But they all think they are.

"GSP by Dec" is the new "Rickson by Armbar"

Pay cuts are still made for fighters teams and a lot come in from sponsors as well.

Signing a tv deal is not pumping profits into things, that's just making more profits from what you already have. If they'd started their own specialized tv channel, that would be putting money into things.

As for adding new divisions, did the UFC go fund the development and training the last few years for the new flyweights and women, or did they just add divisions and sign more fighters that were already working elsewhere? When the UFC starts opening their own training centres to get people into the sport, and then uses those fighters to fill their cards... they'll be pumping money into the sport.

vCash: 538 some sub-set of the UFC's revenue for an event is sometimes smaller than one of the UFC's costs for that same event. Very interesting. And by that I mean meaningless.

They charge much less for tickets for the FOX\Foxports1 events in the US than they do for a PPV. This is probably to ensure a near sellout so it looks good for TV.(and they know exactly how much they are getting from the network before one ticket is sold) I have gone to PPV's and FOX shows in the same arena, and the FOX shows are cheaper.
