Why no 10-8 rounds in Fitch-Maia?

If Maia's back domination and control wasn't 10-8 worthy... Is it possible to get a 10-8 with just jits??

A striker can get it with knockdowns and domination without actually getting a KO.

You see GnP 10-8s most often.

But what Maia did to fitch in the 1st two rounds is about as dominating as you can get without finishing... Right? I'd've given a 10-8.

I had the first round 10-8 since Fitch did nothing offensive in the entire round, but I can see 10-9.
