Opinion: We won't see Jones at HW for many years

Logic doesnt fit in, Jones told Dana he wanted a fight against a HW about a year ago and Dana turned him down and said he didnt think it was a good idea. Jones is indeed looking toward the HW division, when he is going to go up, no one knows.

I think he goes up when he has finished with the LHW division.

He has a chance to clear out the division this year. So him saying possibly moving up in 2014 is very much possible.

You can debate the variables that would help his chances at HW, such as putting more mass on his body, time it would take etc etc..and all those are valid points.

But regardless, I think he clears out the division this year, and moves up to HW next year for a fight or two, kinda like how Silva came up to 205 a few times..but I don't see Jones leaving the LHW division all together.

He'll stay at LHW for at least 2013 and I think most or all of 2014.

I can see him having a super fight with Silva for his last fight at 205 and going to HW then. Too big of a pay day to pass up for both guys.
