I don't think I've ever been more nervous for a fight than I was for Fedor/CroCop. When Fedor came out and checked that first lightning fast low kick... I couldn't believe it. I couldn't believe he stood with CroCop so long either.

Poor Nog. If Fedor never came along then Nog would be the unquestionable HW GOAT right now.

Fedor just has a way with his GnP I just know there is no way for Nog to beat him

The unbeatables.

If you have been watching MMA anytime in the last 10 years, the chances are you were watching in an era dominated by 3 names.

This thread is dedicated to them.

Elite MMA didnt used to have 9 divisions and 2 genders.

HW down to LW were the big 5 and everyone knew who the greatest were.

Fedors run at HW was essentially 2003 to 2010.
Anderson at MW was 2006 to 2013
GSP at WW was 2008 (arguably 2007) to 2013.

This era was owned by 3 big names, and as GSP vacates the title, he is also ending an era in MMA.

This sport will have its kings, and some of will last the distance, but few will compare to these figures, who showed us all what a true great looks like.
That Heavyweight speed in 1:47 by Fedor, seems unmatched...

It looks like its been sped up, then you look at the match clock slowly ticking seconds, and realize he really was that fast.

All 3 of these guys were events.

When they got in the cage or ring to do war, you could feel the hairs prick up as the fight was about to happen, because you knew something was about to go down.

I never quite think of Royce as top 4 let alone top 5 in history actually.. Perhaps I'm just misinformed or ignorant but I don't see it

I think Hughes or the Iceman belong there instead

It's interesting how different these guys' fight styles were. They all excelled in their own way.

Fedor was the most entertaining though. Just a tornado of savagery mixed with technical savvy. Controlled chaos is the best way to describe him. Hardly ever had a boring fight.

I didnt make the picture, but i can understand why someone did.

I would have made the other figure a work in progress, as the game continues.
