Easy, by whoever bleeds the most

I like it. Diego Sanchez will never win a fight again.

I've let the dream of knees to a grounded opponent go a long time ago, but still hold out hope for upkicks.

There's simply no sound reasoning why someone kneeling on the ground in guard, can't be upkicked. It's an absurd technicality and really slows down the pace.

Post judges scores after each round for everyone to see. What's with the secrecy?

MAKE SURE THEY ACTUALLY WATCH THE FIGHTS. I'm certain some of them don't, and just score it based on the crowd noise or a coin flip.
They don't assume that. They make them go through half a days education before getting licensed. Yes, you read that correctly.
Damage is the main scoring criteria, it's just called effective striking.
Also, the problem with scoring the fight as a whole, is say that you almost knock a dude out in the first round, and then coast for the next 2 or 4, to be safe.
Are you really winning the fight then? Or is the guy who has taken over the fight winning?

--i'm fine with the 10 point system, but they need to set clearer guidelines and have extensive training/education to teach judges how to score. there should be more 10-10 rounds (when there's no discernible round winner). 10-9's should be when nothing really significant happens, but one guy clearly controlled the round. 10-8's should be when one guy does significant damage (ie a knock-down). 10-7's should be when a guy nearly gets finished. nowadays, it seems like you basically have to have to nearly finish a guy to get a 10-8.

--get rid of the hand-on-the-ground rule. a knee must be touching for someone to be a grounded opponent.

--upkicks from the bottom should be allowed.
