MAKE SURE THEY ACTUALLY WATCH THE FIGHTS. I'm certain some of them don't, and just score it based on the crowd noise or a coin flip.
They don't assume that. They make them go through half a days education before getting licensed. Yes, you read that correctly.
Damage is the main scoring criteria, it's just called effective striking.
Also, the problem with scoring the fight as a whole, is say that you almost knock a dude out in the first round, and then coast for the next 2 or 4, to be safe.
Are you really winning the fight then? Or is the guy who has taken over the fight winning?
