Finished the much bigger mayanrd who was undefeated. And those comebacks.

And i still believe he won the benson fights. The 2nd for sure. He dominated that fight after the first round. Didnt get takendown, landed many more headshots for the smaller, shorter fighter. Submission attempts. Body shots etc.

Frankie number 1. Bj number 2. We gotta see a couple title defences from petits but he has oitential to be number 1. Melendez too hes already an all time great lightweight.

I still have bj as number 1 p4p. Guy fought machida, and a bunch of middleweights. Beat a prime hughes at welterweight and a close fight to gsp the first time. Champ at 2 divisons, how can he not be considered?
yeah, i'm on board with all this.

I'm glad it was Frankie and not someone disrespectful that ended BJ's career. I liked Edgar's post fight interview.

BJ looked awful but that was partly because Edgar looked so good. This was probably the first time in history too that Edgar left without a mark on his face.

Old Man Zombie Fisticuffs Penn would have gotten smoked by any other top FW as well, but the difference being that even a prime Penn still would have lost. Hell, Frankie's fight with Oliveira looked remarkably similar only with less of a beating on the ground.

He might as well have pounded a real doll. Nobody's saying Edgar isn't great, but this win was nothing.

Great performance, but I think he look much better in the Oliveira fight.

Who are you trying to fool?

BJ looked like a 60 year old man in there.

I'd love to see Frankie fight more often and in different weight classes. He's one of the most exciting fighters to watch and one of the best of all time. IMO, he's the toughest fighter in MMA history. He should fight Faber next, and maybe a fun fight at 155 like Cowboy.

BJ was younger than pretty much any other legend who took his last "OK, now we can see it's over" beatdown. Unless we've decided Shogun is at that point.
