I know the thread asked for when fighters won, but its worth noting so many times the corner's did the opposite of what was needed. Caraway is a perfect example, he came back, said he was tired and asked them what he needed to do and the response was "coast," which he more or less proceeded to do and then lost.
Another great example are Jose Aldo's fights against Edgar and Hominick. In both fights between rounds 4 and 5 his corner told him "you've got all 4 rounds, its in the bag."
Aldo coasted so bad in the 5th against Hominick we came very close to seeing the most lopsided comeback KO ever. Against Edgar his corner told him after 3 and after 4 that he had won all the rounds at that point, which led to Aldo doing not so much and himself not understanding why the decision was so close in postfight interviews.
Not enough corners say: "that round was too close to call it for you"
