I'd say something like
Really too hard to compare their technique though, several of them are drastically different strikers in discipline and application. Pettis and Aldo are no doubt the top two strikers in the list though overall in terms of full striking games. Machida's boxing is horrible but his Karate hand fighting is good and his kicks are excellent, good elbows and great lunging knees. Gustafsson has good boxing for sure and he made use of a nice knee in his last fight that helped him finish Jimi Manuwa but I still need to see more kicking, knees and elbows from him.
Dillashaw blew me away with his striking against Barao, all of those angles, his speed & power, reflexes, footwork, and his combinations. He developed very good hands fast, that's for sure. Can't believe that his base is wrestling. Then again, the same can be said about Weidman's base also being wrestling and his striking improving a ton to the point of hanging with and even outstriking elites like Lyoto and Anderson.
