It wasn't a serious request. It was more to say how good it would be to compete in front of a crowd like that. It was a compliment on the event more than anything.
He did retweet Dana hinting at signing him. Of course he badly wants to be in UFC. But he still can't fully commit to MMA right now.
The guy fights in front of tiny apathetic mostly comped casino crowds in WSOF with events no one really cares about. Where you are lucky if 25% of the few hundred people there actually care about the fights and don't fall asleep. Seeing the insanity in Dublin probably only confirmed that UFC are where elite fighters need to be. The question is though - is he an elite MMA fighter who can fully commit to MMA?
