If i were Frank i would look to grind on aldo the first 2 rounds then open up more with strikes as he fight progresses a d also ismaybe more susceptible.

How is the Barboza Varner fight even remotely applicable to Jose Aldo? Uriah Faber used straight boxing against Aldo's MT and got destroyed by Aldo. Frankie's boxing is highly overrated, because he's been fighting grapplers turned boxers at 155. Aldo's striking will be magnitudes better than Frankie's tomorrow night. Frankie's only chance to win this fight is to go full Guida and make sure that no actual fight breaks out and try to win a decision. If he stands with Aldo for any significant portion of this fight, Frankie will get his legs chopped out from under him and eventually KOd. This fight won't be competitive on the feet.
Muay Tai fighters fight flat footed. They are not boxers. A good boxer can pick them apart.

Frankie hadn't gnp'd anyone lately because he fought some significantly bigger fighters who have exceptional ground games (Sherk, Penn, Henderson, & Maynard). Nobody has ever gnp'd those guys at lightweight.
