-kawajiri is strong for 145, he likes to throw long jabs, double jabs and right crosses to test the reaction of his opponent,
- once he feels him out, he stepps in and often throws 1-2 combinations and trys to clinch and get the takedown.
- which can be countert, like against hansen, who dropped him with a nice timed body kick, but kawajiris chin and recovery is rly good (just watch the alvarez fight)
- his top control is amazing and hes always trying to pass guard and is looking for submissions
