Like many have said ; the accumulation of Dana's antics, and the fact that the UFC has a larger fanbase now.
IMO, there WAS ALWAYS a benefit of the doubt when Dana shit on somebody, oh Dana probably had a reason, or fighter did this or that, so he deserved it or somthing of a similar scenario.
but all benefits out the window when he went all out against GSP behind his back and directly at him. The biggest PPV draw, one of the most popular champs, and a MMA legend who is well known for being humble, respectful, even at times when he shouldnt be.
GSP was the floodgates being broken, and now all of Danas antics are seemingly amplified.
