The only thing I see as an X-factor in this fight is whether Aldo comes back sharp from the layoff with good conditioning. If he does, I don't think Edgar has much of a chance at all. If he doesn't, Edgar can outpoint him as Aldo tires and take a decision. Aldo's conditioning is normally decent for a 5 round fight, aside from the Hominick fight in which he was sick, but if he's got some ring rust or isn't able to land enough leg kicks early enough to keep Edgar from bouncing around a lot, then I could see him gassing in the later rounds. If he's in great shape though, Edgar's in for a bad night. Guess we'll see what happens.

I think he will manage to avoid those devastating leg kicks for a while with his movement and fast paced style. He's still getting finished though. Can't avoid those deadly knees for 5 rounds.

This is not K-1. Even if Jose uses his kicks to try and negate Edgar's Boxing, Edgar can still take him down with his wrestling.
You say everything with such certainty, but it isn't so. Aldo can avoid takedown attempts from Edgar. And Aldo could* outbox Edgar. He may be flat footed but his head movement, timing, reflexes, and counters are top notch

How so? Because you obviously don't have an answer to that.

Edgar doesnt stop them and he'll be in trouble. Constant lateral movement will help, however. We'll see how he's shifting his weight to block kicks.

I love edgar, and I want him to win bad... but Aldo is the new silva, imo

A lot of people are saying Frankie will look to take Aldo down and especially after kicks.

I don't think that will be easy do to Joses speed and strength. Eve if Frankie gets the take downs he's not a grinder like Fitch or had GNP like Fedor. Jose will get back up and reset IMO.

Standup wise Frankie does not stand and bang, he hops in and out. Jose is quite capable of catching him hoping out with something nasty whether kicks or punches.

Jose rarely gets hit and has excellent timing to go along with his speed. Edgar has been in wars and has a style that gets him into trouble at times but has never been finished. I can't wait to see this fight play out.
