Because Big Nog is overrated and we must have balance with the Nog or the world is doomed.

He's just spent most of his career in the shadow of his brother. Also really hasn't had any big wins since his Pride days and most MMA fans also have a very short term memory and the guy hasn't fought in over a year.

because he's living in the shadow of his big brother and people feel that disrespecting lil nog is any easy way to make digs at Pride without summoning the legions of pride nuthuggers that attack if a more famous Pride fighter (IE: Wand, Big Nog, Fedor and Shogun) gets insulted

he's got really good boxing and BJJ and people forget how good he was in Pride (he had wins over Hendo, Sakuraba, Reem, Luiz Cane, Matyushenko and Nakamura all of which are highly respectable wins and along with Matyushenko, he's THE definitive LHW gatekeeper

Yes,lesnar shouldn't have fought as many strikers and he would be legendary. See how stupid that sounds? Lil nog isn't that good. That's why he is where is.

i'd say that makes him rated exactly right. in fact, who the hell can argue with it???

and is a 4.5-1 underdog against a guy who's been in the top 5 for most of the last 6 years.

again, what is there to argue about?

and before you make the "styles make fights" argument, i argue that Rashad's style should turn him from a 4-1 to a 6-1 favorite, not the other way around.

i doubt you're "crazy". but i certainly wouldn't recommend a huge bet for him. but hey, i'm wrong all the time. go for it!!!
This was perfect.

Like I said I disagree, Shogun is much more skilled then any of those fighters, and Henderson and Gustafsson are much more dangerous opponents.

Also that is pure speculation on your part, since the only time we have seen Shogun really controlled and damaged on the ground was against Jones

Ok, it's pure speculation. And we're probably not likely to get to see whether or not I'm right given the pattern in matchmaking we're discussing.
