Misconception between good chin and Fresh chin

I think many people misunderstand between good chins and fresh chins when talking about young fighters like Chris Weidman based on one fight. I think we should hold our opinion on whether young fighters have good chins unless they are tested in at least 2-3 fights then we will see how good of a chin holds up. anyone agree

How do you determine one from the other if no two shots are the same?

Agreed. One fight doesn't determine a good chin or not. At the very least Weidman has a serviceable chin though, Machida usually only KO's chinny guys like Bader, Evans and Munoz.

No. That's not how it works. Your chin doesn't go after 2 or 3 hard fights. It takes years of being beat on for that process to start in earnest.

Your chin is as good as the shots it can take, and The Chris took some savage shit from Machida and walked through it like it was no big deal. He has a really good chin, Machida has put some tough dudes to sleep.
