Did they really eliminate both freestyle and greco wrestling? Why would they do that to the sport that started the Olympics? Does this have something to do with Brasil retaliating about Jiu Jitsu not being in it?

Wrestling is a foundation of the Olympics. Dropping it is stupidity beyond description.

Gives college AD's yet another reason to say wrestling isn't a popular enough sport to hold onto. With less college programs less guys will perfect their wrestling skills and then transfer them to MMA after college. If wrestling is removed from the Olympics then MMA needs to step up and show more support for college wrestling as one of their best feeder systems.
