I was thinking because of this LHW fiasco going on at the moment why not do the winner of Gus/Mousasi vs the winner of Hendo/Machida for the absolute number one contender?

Definitely Shogun vs Hendo! And Wanderlei vs Page/Chuck. I was pretty hyped for Cro Cop vs Barry too..but that didn't turn out how I thought it would, and I was hyped for Ortiz vs Machida but that may have been just me personally lol. Big fan of both.

Both great answers...although I wasn't looking forward to it too much being that it was an obvious squash match, Hughes/Gracie was a HUGE deal at the time.

I was just thinking that, Pettis/Cerrone is definitely an honorable mention for me! All the responses in this thread have been great answers.
