Wouldn't count on that. I don't think Jake left SF on the greatest of terms:

Well, come on now.

They were making Shlemenko out to be the best fighter in the world..and then he get's smashed by Tito in about a minute.

Yes, Tito, who has beaten one fighter not named Ken Shamrock in the past decade.

And then you have Rampage who has been smashing fools in Bellator. Yes, Rampage, who hasn't won a single ROUND in the UFC in more than 3 years.

I am not trying to disrespect Tito or Rampage. They are two of the all time greats who have both had magnificent careers. But neither have been relevant for several years, yet these are the guys that Bellator is trying to build their company off of.

Does that have any bearing on his direct relationship with Coker?

I don't think they'll be as big as SF, because they're not starting out with as much talent.

I hope Bellator teams up with OneFC, and takes it right to the UFC (as much as I think its a long shot)

Even getting to Strikeforce level of talent and production would be a good thing

competition is great for everyone

I like Coker. He seems like the best between him, Dana and Bjorn. Still, I don't see him lifting Bellator up to the point that it can threaten Zuffa or even come close. I'd love to see Coker raise Bellator to being a legitimate threat to Zuffa's share of the market because it would force Zuffa to step up the quality of their cards and the consumers would benefit, but I don't think it's likely as the UFC is the MMA brand in the US and I'm not sure what kind of capital Viacom is willing to back Coker with. You know Zuffa is going to back the UFC hardcore because it's their bread and butter. The same isn't even close to being true for Viacom.
