We actually have several guys in the UFC and WSOF.

I work with the guys at Xtreme Couture a lot and Mr. Sefo himself.

While it is not common to land in these places, the chance is always there.

I have one of my guys getting scouted by Bellator right now and two others getting ready to get ONE FC contracts as well as two being on a fighter reality show.

So networking is a good thing and this is a tool you can use to network with people to get you places that you want to go. You can use it, your coach can use it, anyone that wants to be in the business can use it.

Dude, where do you think UFC fighters come from? Notice how pretty much NOBODY makes their pro debut in the UFC? You need fights. Fights can be hard to get, especially winnable fights. If you put on a show, your name gets out there, people get talking. It's all about networking.

I'm sorry it wasn't around then, but I am trying to give guys a platform now so that they have that chance. Most people have no idea how hard this part of the sport can be for fighters, coaches AND promoters.

Hopefully this will be a good tool for everyone to use.

Be careful, lots of local promotions are run by scumbags who really have no concern for your well being.
Hopefully you've got someone with experience guiding you through the process and getting you the right fight. There are plenty of snakes in the grass who will stiff you, lie about medical coverage, switch opponents or lie about records and experience of guys they are trying to build in their organizations.

Doesn't have anything to do with the OP, but I figured this is as good of a place to post this as I would have on here.

If you get involved with a team or local fight promotions, you will see some really suspect stuff go down, gotta watch your team mates backs. Especially on native land, where pretty much anything goes.
This ^ is good advice I'm not ashamed to say that I know from experience.
