Ariel promised Overeem an iPad for his birthday. This was at least a year ago, if not more. Was before Overeem signed with the UFC. Obviously Ariel never delivered, and it's been sort of a running joke ever since. It's either one of the UFC blogs, or episodes of The Reem, but Overeem was given an iPad by the UFC upon signing.

None of the fighters really like the guy because he tries to stir shit. And I don't mean just between fighters trying to hype a fight, I mean between training partners, coaches, fighters and their org, etc. He asks questions over and over. They answer him several times and he just keeps asking the same question. If they get pissed or ignore him then he plays the victim. They all know how he is and that is why you've seen a lot of fighters just walk away or ignore him.

Stuff like this really makes me question some of the things Rampage said. If you're a top dog in the UFC they do everything in there power to take care of you. I'm sure Dana did stuff like this for Quinton when he was at the top level as well but I think the whole fighter pay issue gets blown way out of proportion sometimes.
