Somewhere in the midwest for sure, I'm in Ohio and I know it's pretty big here. The Big 10 is the elite college conference for wrestling so it makes sense schools like Ohio, Iowa, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, etc. would be the best.

THE best is Pennsylvania and it's not even a debate. I saw some figures back a few years ago and PA generally breeds above 60 of the 290 NCAA qualifiers with Ohio/NY/NJ 2, 3, and 4 with 20 to 28 a piece. Of the years I saw data for, the lowest PA had was like 58 and the best any other state had was Ohio with 28. To entertain any other state than PA as the best is pure ignorance.

this would be my vote, but someone mentiond in here that California has a single state championship. Which is impressive to whoever wins in their class. Meaning there are guys who would be 5th ,4th ,3rd, 2nd, who would be state champs in another state ( which has 3 per weight class )
