I just wish Anderson came into this fight with the same kind of fire under his ass as when he fought Vitor cause thats really his best chance. He was fucking PISSED

I was serious about the backfist, i like chael hes not the greatest fighter but he is good at what he does, and i really think he believed he could land that effectively, and didn't freeze up and look dumb like past opponents.

Correction, he did look a bit dumb sitting on his ass at Silvas feet staring up at him with that look of sheer terror. But at least he went for it.

[QUOTE=Goretek614;88717823]I feel a lot of the people on this forum are delusional, Anderson was messing around and got caught. It wasn't because weidman was a better fighter and in the rematch Anderson is going to destroy him in spectacular fashion.[/QUOT

Possibly, but i feel like less attention should be paid to the one who got caught and more to the one who did the catching. It may have been lucky, but he also did what nobody else could in closing the distance with effective strikes. Maybe silva will come back with gsp-esque wrestling skills but i doubt it. Its a tough call, like i said i just haven't seen enough serious fight time from Weidman to make a confident call on it.

Excellent point. Not the first time AS dropped his hands but CW was the only one so far to make him pay for it.
