Bellator and UFC

It seems as though Bellator started light with the addition of a down hill Rampage and a down and out Tito Ortiz but with this newest addition of Gilbert Melendez and Rebney stating that they are in talks with other UFC fighters, what are the chances that they are planning to pick up the rest of the scrap pack ?

Good question! Another good question is "Who cares?" but I think my question is gooder.

bellator is changing and signing big name fighters mean they will have to change further.
going through and winning the tourney won't be anything major to guys making 200k a fight. Just means that Viacom is spending more money faster.

Melendez isn't finalized. UFC still has matching rights...

Other than Gil, the scrap pack sucks. One of the most overrated camps in MMA

its hard to see bellator being able to afford the top fighters considering their buisness isnt booming or anything. I really do like the idea of people leaving the ufc to go to bellator. i feel like it would help get dana back to his senses and act more professional. Im definitely rooting for bellator to do well and succeed becuase they are a very nice break from the seemingly dull UFC as of late

I can see Gil and possibly Nick going. Jake is doing pretty well at 170 now and it wouldn't make sense for Nate because he wouldn't have a title he could win.
