How many times did Machida have to beat Shogun though?

I think upkicking & defending takedown attempts with knees to 'grounded' opponents should be legal.

Favs.: Lawler, Edgar, Rumble, McGregor, Velasquez, Machida, Pettis, MacDonald, Dodson, Fedor

That was completely unfair.

Machida gave Shogun an immediate rematch, he should have gotten one himself.

It shouldn't matter that he was knocked out because this is MMA and it happens.

Yeah...Screw that, way to go Dana! Call him out on thinking he had the leverage to pick between which of the two Super Fights he wants just because he's Champion and a big draw! Sure they both deserve it, both totally deserve a shot, both will get a shot it's an issue of when...and Dana will be damned if he lets Jon Jones pick which one of the two dangerous legitimate contenders he's going to fight, that would be insanity at its highest form.

Thanks to Sherdog I now know that living in a poor urban neighborhood is constant Kung-Fu madness with Ninja's and Gang-Bangers jumping out at all turns attacking you.

I don't know why so many people are so against a Jones/Gus rematch.... yea, so what if Jones won the first match.... were you people against Cain/JDS 2? Or the GSP/Hughes fights? Rematches are made to find out who the actual better fighter was. Edgar/Penn and Edgar/Maynard showed us that Edgar was definitely the better fighter against those two. Were you people not excited to see a Rampage/Wandy rematch? Fighters learn and progress, that's why there are rematches. For Jones to say that Gus and even Machida doesn't deserve a rematch just because he beat them once, shows that he's not a true competitor and shouldn't deserve anyone's respect.

Now supposedly Jones would need to cut a limb to make 195lbs, but Silva can apparently make 185lbs even though he walks around 235lbs or so as GSP claims. How is that even possible.
ed soares made a statement in a video a few years go saying anderson is walking at 235 right gsp wouldnt want to fight him so if silvas manager is making the claim id say there is some truth to it

You mean Dana didn't own up to publicizing the fight before it was signed, likely as a way to strengthen the UFC's bargaining leverage over the details and stoke the coals for publicity? Shocked. Just shocked.
