The ufc has made the decision to heavily promote/support the brand instead of the fighters.
A failed strategy if they want to be anything more than a niche sport.
I agree, when people think of peyton manning, they think of FOOTBALL not 3 letters.
If anything FOOTBALL fans despise the league for putting in stupid rules, for making dumb decisions and being biased in who gets to play on national games. Real fans stand for the good of the SPORT.
But mma fans seem to think fighters dont deserve more money, and its ok for the ufc to take like 90% of the earnings.
How can the sport grow? Its stayed like this for too long.
