Davis got shut down by Rashad for 25 minutes, and Machida beat Rashad's ass when Rashad was at his peak. Davis has done absolutely nothing to put himself above Machida.

Yeah but I don't necessarily disagree with those that have James Te-Huna ranked ahead of Forrest, just because I feel Forrest would get messed up by Te-Huna at the moment.

That alone isnt a reason to rank him higher though, match them both up vs a grappler and I'd favour Forrest to do better.

Hendo or Gus I agree with you but I can see the case for Davis, Phil has one win in the last 22 months over a mid level opponant where as Machida is coming off beating Bader, you go back longer than that and Machida has the better record.

Rankings are meant to be objective. That doesn't mean you can make a fucking mockery out of them. Do you have Down syndrome? Or did you get breast fed until you were eleven? Dude's got potential, bus still hasn't shown anything that could put him above Machida.

He is also the only one from the top 10 that I'd put Shogun as the favorite, even if by a tiny margin.
