Agree

Anyone who is trained can control their power and if they don't then that was a choice.

I did tkd as a kid. At one point I had advanced to a red belt and I was the youngest kid in my class, I was about 11-12 and the rest of the class were teenagers. 90% of the people were absolutely fine to spar with but one or two kids would throw heavy power shots (mostly kicks) at me.

When I hit my growth spurt I definitely tried NOT to be that dickhead that was throwing power shots in sparring to try to "win" or seem like a tough guy. Even though I fully understand the instinct to use power if you have it and I understand the ego portion that could lead to those actions I try to live my life by the one commandment, "thou shalt not be an assshole".

Only a noob can't throw quick/speed strikes without putting much power behind it.

Control is the #1 attribute that differentiate pros from amateurs.
I can't buy the fact that a seasoned vet like Reem didn't throw on purpose.

In order to be "winning" the session in his mind he has to land the harder blows. Just my take.
you are retarded. overeem has - very - fast hands for a heavyweight.
