Love it. It's a great subject to teach, but make sure to get a second teachable. Also, keep in mind that History and other Social Sciences are some of the more difficult subjects to find teaching positions. However, if you're willing to move around, either up North or overseas, you will find loads of teaching jobs. Many of them are absolutely amazing, and it's really neat way to see the world. So I say go for it.

Thanks for the insight, I really do appreciate it. I always enjoyed history/social studies but never thought I could do anything with them. I finally decided it was better to teach it and be happy with my career than to be unhappy in a higher paying field.
