By the way Machida about -270. So he's a rather big favourite.

Machida is a fairly heavy betting favorite.

I definitely think he takes it.

Anyway, i think Mousasi has proven he can beat strikers somewhat similar to Machida (Kyotaro) and look impressive doing it.

One thing that has me perplexed, is why do people think Machida is going to KO Mousasi? he's got an iron chin on top of incredible head movement and defense, not to mention Machida has never KO'd a striker.
Thiago Silva says hi.

Remove all wins that were not against top 5 HW opponents and Fedor is 6-4.

I've got Machida in this one. Most likely by decision but possibly stoppage late in the fight. I just can't envisage Mousasi being able to touch Machida.

Could an omnipotent being create a stone so heavy that even he could not lift it?

I think you got your answer. Doubt it was a serious question in the first place.

You're not alone, i think he wins this fight too, i also think it will be an incredibly boring decision, both of them are very passive.
Those using Kyotaro as an example, don't forget that rings favor strikers, it's easier to circle, cut distances and they are more "bouncy" than a cage.

I can understand why TS feels that way, but he's by far the only one, and for the most part people seem to be split about 50/50 on this fight.

It's just that Mousasi has one of those starry-eyed, irrational Sherdog fanbases that very vocally touts his upcoming domination of whoever he's facing next and are seemingly only counting down the days until he achieves GOAT status. He's got that overseas mystique, and he's buddies with Fedor. That in itself gives him a built-in legion of huggers. Oh, and he's fought some K1 fights, so that automatically makes him the best striker in the division

In truth, he's a very talented guy with an impressive record and tons of potential. Has he really beaten anyone of note or fought top-level competition? No, not really. And don't start rattling off names that you THINK are top-level, they're not; most were either very green (Jacare) or very over-rated (Manhoef, losing-streak Hunt). As for the K1 thing, it doesn't always translate into MMA striking; ie: Overeem, Barry, Manheof.

Machida via TKO or UD

I think it's a tough fight to say who wins. Depends whose night it is.

IMO machida takes it , mousasi likes to stalk an crumble you , machida is more a stick an move don't touch me type of style ... It's stylistically a great matchup to see who can compose there will.

I'm excited can't wait.

I think this could be a good fight for Machida. I get why some guys think he will lose, but I don't think the danger factor is there. I normally don't like Machida, but I think stylistically he is well matched up and he will do well here.
