Powerlifting is super beneficial to most, if not all sports. Just because you powerlift doesn't mean youre going to turn to Pudz.
The grip and core strength gains you have through power lifting is godlike.
You want to be a good fighter you need a decent grip and a strong core. If you don't have decent core strength, you ain't winning shit.
If you do decide to train, let a good, strong grappler get a hold of you and watch how helpless you really are. You will change your views really fast about strength and power training.
