But Anderson is black and Fedor is white. Are you one of these people that think white is American white and black is African American?

Last time I heard someone make a statement like that was from a child. They did not know better though. Anderson says he is black Dana. He has talked on black poverty in Brazil b4!

Sorry TS, but I can actually kinda see it.
Difference: Fedor was put out by Bigfoot.

Bigfoot was put out by DC.

DC is coming for that belt.

Lots of similarities in the style and techniques they employ, but also: Undersized heavyweight, have a bit of a tire roll, aggressive/pressuring, strong clinch/takedown, undefeated et cetera

And it's clear that Cormier has studied Fedors game and mimics a lot of stuff

Do you know what a decade of wins is?

Everyone says HW is shallow, yet the grand total of title wins at UFC HW is 3.

Fedor went 10 years. A decade.

That shit is unbelievable. I told myself I would stand and applaud when he decided it was time to retire.

I did in front of my ex-gf and she was like wtf but I drank Russian vodka after.

I like DC. I hope he gets at that belt. He hasn't done what Fedor has.

I don't mean to disrespect Fedor at all, believe me. He's a legend of the sport and one of the all-time greats.

I'm just making a comparison between DC and Fedor. DC stopped a guy with strikes that stopped Fedor with strikes (fine, doctor stoppage...but this one was legit, unlike the first one Fedor suffered).

Fedor was on top of the MMA world for a decade but when he went down he went down hard. The Hendo KO was so brutal for me because I'm a fan of both fighters and I loved that Hendo got the KO over Fedor, but I hated that Fedor was KO'd by Dan Henderson.

There's a difference between a flash KO and a KO.

Fedor was turning into Hendo at the time of stoppage.

I agree with the stop but if the man is trying to get a single leg, how is that not intelligent defense?

On the overview, 1 win doesn't overshadow a decade.

Bigfoot beat Fedor.

Fedor clowned on everyone for 10 years.

Early UFC 1-4 days there was like one big shark named Royce Gracie. By the time Fedor began to fight there were a few newer sharks in the water. A little more comp but it was still rather easy to find fighters with very limited skills! Now the waters are infested with new sharks! No easy fights in the UFC. Cans don't seem to exist anymore. There are gatekeepers now. Skills are so high now that there is no way we will see an eight man tournament in one night again in the UFC. Much respect to Fedor,10 years is an awesome accomplishment but let's not ignore that he did not dominate at a time where just about everyone knew everything. Cormier has dived in these shark infested waters of today and easily destroyed two guys that Fedor had no answer for.
