If Pettis comes back healthy and stays healthy he'll crush the t/KO record, otherwise Cowboy

And the fact that he embraces his weaknesses and works on them.

He has evolved more in the last two years (Since Varner fight, TDD weakness) than Melvin did his entire career.

Trujillo will take Guillards role as that explosive guy with KO power. I think it will get up there because he will continue to play the role of beating guys who are slower than him, but losing to wrestlers/upper tier fighters.

Pettis will be a bit harder because as long as he's right at the top, he won't be facing guys who will crumble quickly.

Cerrone or a Barboza could easily get up there with the knockdowns/outs as well.

The other fairly decent part, is Trujillo/Cerrone/Barboza are also guys who typically don't get injured a lot.

Yeah true.

Have Cerrone or Barboza ever pulled out of a fight? I don't even think so.

Yea, he's the glass canon type like Guillard. Devastating offense but defensively lacking

The reason Pettis has "only" two knockdowns is because both resulted from a kick which ended the fight.

Just saying.

Judging off of his past few fights, it'll be Cerrone.

Not really. Melvin was more devasting with his first round finishes but seldom won if he didn't do it quick. Melvin didn't have defense issues he had brain sharts. He would throw stupid strikes and get taken down and read-necked choked.

Barboza has genuine defensive issues, but he does better as the fight goes on and if he loses it's usually because the other guy is better not because he laid an egg in the octagon or didn't show up.
