Obviously, they couldn't self-regulate right away. The Fighters Union comes first. With the Fighters unionized, the fear that the UFC won't pay them fairly is gone. The fear that the UFC won't have fighter safety in mind is gone. The UFC would gain a ton of powerful allies. Some of which obviously have the power to decide whether or not the UFC is allowed to hold events in a state. I bet that regulating all these events costs the government a bunch of money and if the UFC and the UFC Fighters Association can show that they can work together to self-regulate without putting the fighters at risk physically, personally or financially, it should be a no-brainer. Easy win in the Supreme Court imo. No need to take it State by state.
I will accept that, although I love Dana White, this may require a more professional UFC President than the one we have now.
