So yeah, that's still quite a bit but I think you guys are blowing it out of proportion. Besides, when you factor in concussions from sparring all fighters have a lot more head trauma over their careers than we learn of.
This. He has essentially been KO'd 7 times.
Travis Fulton has been TKO'd so many times but his mental health seems fine, no slurs or stuttering.

7 KOs is still really unhealthy though.

One is often dangerous because fighters do not take the appropriate time to fully recover from being fully put out.

Overeem has kind of a deceptive loss record though. A lot of those finishes had him tapping out due to strikes because he was in a bad position, but they're instead listed as a TKO. Still, you have the finishes with Shogun, Chuck, Kharitonov, etc.

It's worth speculating, but take everything with a grain of salt because every person is different.

This, one would think that Rashad Evan's KO did more damage to Chuck than Browne did to Overeem

A glass chin can actually prevent serious damage, because the fight is over. He hasn't eaten shots like, say, Hendo or Wandy or Shogun or Chuck or Big Nog. It's the continued beating you receive, not the loss of consciousness, that ducks you up big time. Look at Muhammad Ali. He had fewer KOs but ate hundreds more shots.
